Role: SAP ByD Consultant (Product Analyst & Developer)

Work Location: Coimbatore or Bangalore, India

Role Description: An SAP ByD consultant to work closely with our SAP team in driving the adoption, optimization, and iteration of the SAP ByD platform, leveraging multiple integrations and technologies. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience with technical implementations of customer projects. Using their expertise, problem-solving ability, and creative flair, the consultant will design, build, deliver, and maintain SAP ByD ecosystem. The consultant will also help develop business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, and configuration, along with testing and deployment.

Work Experience:

i.               SAP BYD Consultant/Engineer - 2 to 3 years hands-on experience in SAP Business By Design or any other ERP solution software

ii.              Senior SAP BYD Consultant/Engineer – 4 to 5 years hands-on experience in SAP Business By Design or any other ERP solution software

Responsibilities:

• Assist with gathering client requirements and documenting functional specifications
• Configure various modules within SAP ByDesign
• Perform data migration tasks from legacy to current business solutions.
• Perform system testing and issue resolution support
• Create financial statements using SAP ByDesign or other financial reporting tools
• Troubleshoot and support SAP ByDesign solution
• Complete project tasks as assigned, on time and budget
• Provide project status updates to project manager on a regular basis
• Receptive to mentoring

Skills & Competencies Requirements：

• Knowledge and experience on API Management or OData services
• Familiarity with Postman and/or SoapUI for writing queries for testing APIs
• Basic knowledge of system integrations like Boomi platform
• Experience with implementation/deployment of SAP ByDesign or any other ERP software solutions.
• Experience with basic ERP system modules including core financials, CRM, demand planning, manufacturing, MRP and supply chain preferred.
• With some guidance, ability to create and complete project deliverables and documentation.
• Ability to independently manage individual time and tasks.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new requirements and changing situations.
• Knowledge of the SAP Business ByDesign development technologies, architecture and development insights (incl. SAP HANA)
• Knowledge of ByDesign Analytics dashboard / KPI framework and main analytical Objects (AEO, MDAV, …)
• Very good analytical skills combined with the ability to work on complex topics and drive their realization in an efficient way
• Experience in agile development practices (SCRUM), test-driven development as well as model-driven development

Desirable:

·      Bachelor’s / Postgraduate degree or professional qualification in Business, Computer Science, or a similar field of study,

·      SAP Certification on SAP Business ByDesign
