Job Summary :We are looking for a talented GCP BigQuery Developer with strong SQL skills and basic proficiency in Python to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly BigQuery, and be capable of writing efficient SQL queries to support data transformation, analytics, and reporting tasks.Key Responsibilities :- Design and implement data solutions using BigQuery and GCP-native services.- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.- Build and maintain data pipelines to support reporting and analytics use cases.- Perform data validation, profiling, and quality checks to ensure data integrity.- Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and engineers to understand data needs.- Write Python scripts for automation, orchestration, and lightweight data processing tasks.- Monitor and improve performance of BigQuery workloads and queries.- Maintain documentation of data flows, transformations, and Skills & Qualifications :- 4 - 12 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or BI development.- Proven hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and GCP data services (e.g., Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Dataflow optional).- Strong expertise in SQL, including analytical functions, joins, CTEs, and window functions.- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.- Understanding of data warehouse concepts, data modeling, and normalization.- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
