Job Summary

  • We are actively seeking a highly skilled Core Android Developer with a strong proficiency in Java. You'll be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of Android devices, from smartphones to tablets.


Responsibilities


Application Development

  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java code for Android applications.
  • Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Implementation of SSL Pinning & Afestication to make application secure.


UI/UX Implementation

  • Work closely with our UI/UX designers to implement user interface designs, adhering to established design guidelines and best practices.


Debugging and Troubleshooting

  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
  • Maintain code quality through comprehensive testing methodologies.


API Integration

  • Work with back-end developers to define, design, and integrate RESTful APIs.
  • Ensure smooth communication between the mobile application and back-end systems.


Code Reviews

  • Participate in code reviews to help maintain a high standard of code quality.
  • Mentor junior developers and offer code-level guidance as needed.


Documentation

  • Generate internal documentation such as technical requirements, API documentation, and code comments to support development efforts.


Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features in alignment with business objectives.


Requirements

  • Educational Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications or training in Android development would be a plus.


Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Java and Android SDK.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and APIs.
  • Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.


Problem-Solving Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.


Communication Skills

  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken form.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly and concisely.


Continuous Learning

  • A demonstrated eagerness to learn and upgrade skills in front-end & back-end development, particularly in the Android and Java ecosystem.
