Job Title: DevOps Engineer - Azure Cloud, Python Scripting, Terraform

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure Cloud, Python scripting, and terraform, with experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Scalable and Secure Cloud Infrastructure: Use Azure Cloud services, including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources, to design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and Maintain Python Scripts: Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate cloud infrastructure deployment, configuration, and management.
  • Use Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC): Use Terraform to define and deploy cloud infrastructure as code, including IaC and CaC.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Collaborate with development teams to design and implement cloud-based applications and services, including containerization and orchestration.
  • Develop and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps and other tools.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot Cloud Infrastructure and Applications: Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications, including performance and security issues.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Azure Cloud and Terraform Technologies: Stay up to date with the latest Azure Cloud and Terraform technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Participate in Code Reviews, Testing, and Deployment: Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of cloud-based applications and services.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement DevOps processes and standards.
  • Develop and Maintain Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and applications, including architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
Requirements:
  • 5+ Years of Experience in DevOps Engineering: 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, including experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong Understanding of Azure Cloud Services: Strong understanding of Azure Cloud services, including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources.
  • Experience with Python Scripting: Experience with Python scripting, including experience with Azure Cloud SDK and other Python libraries.
  • Strong Understanding of Terraform: Strong understanding of Terraform, including experience with Terraform configuration files and state management.
  • Experience with Containerization and Orchestration: Experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Azure DevOps and other tools.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex system performance issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with development teams and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies: Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Familiarity with Business Architecture and Enterprise Architecture Frameworks: Familiarity with business architecture and enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) Tools: Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools, including ServiceNow and BMC Helix.
