Job title: UI Developer Department: Marketing Location: Mumbai Shift timings: 10 am to 7 pm and Sat-Sun Weekly-offWe are looking for a creative, skilled UI Developer to design websites, applications with functionality and aesthetics in mind. The UI Developer will work with Back-End and Front-End Developers to ensure that the websites, applications are optimized for several devices and well presented. To be successful as a UI Developer you should have excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Working knowledge of AngularJS (2.0 and above version) will be an advantage.Responsibilities:Work with other developers to ensure that the websites and applications are functional and visually appealing. Ensure that the websites and applications are optimized for various devices. Conduct thorough testing of user interfaces in multiple platforms to ensure all designs render correctly and systems function properly, incorporating feedback from actual potential users as well as members of the design team Solve any design or usability issues that arise and anticipate potential future problems so they can be resolved before they impact users Maintain and improve existing websites and applications Optimize applications for maximum speed Collaborate with back-end, front-end developer and web designers to improve usabilityStay up-to-date on emerging technologiesSkills Required:In-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS & bootstrapIn-depth knowledge of jQuery, JavaScript & AjaxBasic understanding and working knowledge of AngularJSBasic understanding of development of SEO complaint webpages and content management systems (WordPress)Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop. Knowledge of Figma or similar tools will be added advantageFamiliarity with browser testing and debuggingIn-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)Understanding of layout aestheticsAn ability to perform well in a fast-paced environmentAggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skillsStrong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumenGood verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of using MS Office and ability to acclimatize to different technical tools used in the organization
