Technical Development Lead

Responsibilities :- Lead end-to-end delivery of Golang banking/payments backend system from design to deployment, ensuring speed, reliability, and compliance with banking regulations.- Mentor and guide junior developers.- Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps teamsEducation :- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience :- 7+ years of overall software development experience.- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Golang (mandatory). Proven experience building backend systems from scratch.Technical Skills (Mandatory) :- Backend Development : Golang expertise developing high-performance backend systems.- Databases : MongoDB (preferred) OR experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).- Messaging Systems : NATS.io (preferred) OR Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ.- API Protocols : gRPC (preferred) OR RESTful APIs.- Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems.- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cline)- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).- Frontend : Exposure in Angular, React, or similar frameworksPreferred Skills (Not Mandatory) :- Banking Domain Knowledge : ISO8583, ISO20022, ACH/WIRE, FedNow, RTP , Card Payments, Double-Entry Accounting.- Cloud & DevOps : AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Nomad.- Experience with GraphQL, gRPC, or message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).- Prior experience in cloud-native architecture or Kubernetes.- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.- Contributions to open-source Golang projects.- Lead a team of backend developers through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).- Architect and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems using Golang.- Design database schemas, optimize queries, and manage integrations with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and other relational databases.- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices for coding and design.- Identify technical risks and devise mitigation strategies.- Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies for backend development.About company :We are a Banking Product Company, with a modern core banking platform and an embedded payments infrastructure.
