DBiz.ai - Quality Assurance Functional Engineer

Description :Position Summary :We are seeking a skilled QA Functional Engineer to support a product delivery POD.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in functional testing, both manual and automated, with a focus on quality assurance best practices across mobile and web platforms.Key Responsibilities :- Lead and support QA efforts within the team and offshore group.- Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases/scripts, and test reports.- Execute manual and automated tests; log, track, and close defects.- Perform exploratory and regression testing.- Validate UI and UX responsiveness across multiple devices and screen sizes (iOS and Android).- Conduct visual regression testing and perform testing on emulators, simulators, and real devices.- Manage test data effectively to support quality test cycles.- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and testers in an Agile team environment.- Support Test Automation Engineer in continuous test automation efforts.- Contribute to QA process improvements and chapter-wide innovation initiatives.- Ensure testing aligns with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bitbucket or Azure DevOps.Required Experience & Technical Skills :- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance- Experience with test automation for mobile applications using Selenium (Java), Maven, Appium- Hands-on experience in API testing and database validation- Familiarity with tools : qTest, JIRA, Confluence, Kafka- Experience in Microsoft Azure cloud environment- Working knowledge of Agile methodology and QA best practices- Experience with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Azure DevOps preferred)- Strong understanding of QA processes, testing methodologies, and defect lifecycleKey Attributes & Soft Skills :- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)- Highly analytical and detail-oriented with problem-solving capabilities- Proactive self-learner with a collaborative mindset- Proven ability to work in cross-functional Agile teams- Experience working with onshore/offshore teams- Ability to challenge requirements and contribute to technical discussions (ref:hirist.tech)
