Mini Financiers Ltd., with a proud legacy of over 100 years in financial services, is looking for a seasoned professional to join our fast-growing Microfinance Division.We are seeking a highly capable Senior Manager Credit (Microfinance) to lead and strengthen our credit operations.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement robust credit policies, underwriting norms, and risk assessment frameworks for microfinance.- Lead end-to-end credit appraisal and loan approval processes across branches and regions.- Monitor portfolio health and take corrective measures to minimize NPAs and delinquencies.- Collaborate with field operations, collections, product, and compliance teams to align credit decisions with business goals.- Mentor and train credit analysts and branch staff in credit assessment and risk management techniques.- Drive digitization of credit processes for improved efficiency and faster turnaround.- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and NBFC-MFI regulatory requirements.- Support internal and external audits, inspections, and portfolio reviews.Candidate Requirements:- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.- Certifications in Credit/Risk Management will be an added advantage.- Experience: Minimum 10 years in credit assessment, underwriting, or risk management in the Microfinance or NBFC-MFI sector (Mandatory).- Strong analytical and leadership skills.- Sound understanding of microfinance customer profiles, portfolio trends, and lending dynamics.- Hands-on experience with credit bureau reports, MIS tools, and Loan Origination Systems (LOS).- Willingness to travel across regions as required.Preferred Profile:- Experience in NBFC-MFI operations within Kerala or familiarity with Kerala market and customer base.- Malayalam language proficiency is a plus.- Candidates currently based in Kerala or willing to relocate to Kochi will be given preference.
