JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose of the position

The incumbent is responsible for various tax compliances and reporting for FAD team including routine tax compliances like WHT/ GST tax payments, returns etc, transfer pricing filings/ documentation, liasoning with tax office/ consultants, assisting in tax assessments etc.


Scope and Dimension

  • Assist with Direct and Indirect tax compliances including WHT payments, GST payments, monthly/ annual returns, assessments etc.
  • Ensure on reporting including HO reports, audits etc and other daily control activities
  • Assist with preparation of Financial Statements and liaison with auditors for completion of Audits.
  • Ensure on other activities like interaction with consultant, certifications etc



Job Responsibilities


  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure all GST related compliances.
  • Review of GST returns and ensure timely submissions
  • Review and issuance of GST invoices on monthly basis
  • Supervise and be responsible for Middleware & ASP functionalities for GST
  • Handle compliances related to TDS including review of transactions for applicable rates, monthly payments and return filings.
  • Co-ordinate internally, consultants and with Tax office for all tax related matters.
  • Assist on preparation and analysis of JGAAP and Local GAAP financial statements on a periodic basis.
  • To assist on IND-AS conversion and preparation of Financial Statements.
  • To assist in ensuring timely and accurate preparation of HO reports and get reviewed to ensure timely submission of reports to HO.
  • Assist team with other tax compliances including transfer pricing, handling tax assessments etc.
  • Coordinating with Statutory auditors, arranging for requisite information and assisting in preparation of financial statements.
  • Assist with other activities for the Financial Accounting team, including management of daily controls.
  • Review existing processes and policies for betterment
  • Maintaining strong risk management culture


Experience & Qualifications

(a) Knowledge –Indian tax laws and accounting principles

(b) Skills – Strong Communication and analytical skills

(c) Experience – Minimum 2-3 years post qualification experience, with good exposure to direct and Indirect tax. Experience of working with Bank would be preferred.

(d) Qualifications - CA and/or higher equivalent qualification in Accounting / Taxation.
