In this key role, you will design, implement, and evolve Sureify’s next-generation cloud-based compute platform that powers digitally delivered life insurance experiences. You will balance strategic business objectives with technical excellence — considering scalability, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across product, delivery, DevOps, and data to architect secure, scalable, and automated solutions on AWS. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the architecture, infrastructure, and operational maturity of a rapidly growing enterprise software company.Key ResponsibilitiesCloud Architecture & DesignDesign and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures onAWS , leveraging services such asEC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, VPC , andRedshift , provisioned throughTerraform . Collaborate with product, delivery, and data teams to align platform architecture with business and operational needs. Define architecture patterns that support growth, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.CI/CD & AutomationDesign and implementCI/CD pipelinesusing tools likeGitHub, Jenkins, Spinnaker, ArgoCD, and Helmto automate deployment, updates, and scaling. Drive best practices forcontainerization and orchestration , ensuring high availability, efficient resource utilization, and fast delivery cycles.Security & ComplianceEstablish and enforceAWS security best practices , includingIAM ,KMS , encryption, and container security. Integrate security controls and policies into all stages of the development and deployment lifecycle.Monitoring & ObservabilityDesign and implement robustobservability frameworksusingCloudWatch, New Relic , and related tools for end-to-end monitoring, logging, and alerting. Develop metrics and dashboards to ensure proactive detection of performance, reliability, and scalability issues.Performance Optimization & TroubleshootingDiagnose and resolve infrastructure and application performance issues, ensuring high availability and reliability across environments. Continuously evaluate and optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency.Process & Continuous ImprovementIdentify, prioritize, and maintain a quarterly roadmap focused oncost optimization, process improvement, and security enhancements . Document and maintain detailed architectural designs, integrations, deployment procedures, and configuration standards. Mentor DevOps engineers and collaborate to ensure consistent adoption of best practices across teams.Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong proficiency withAWSservices such asEC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, SES, SQS, ElastiCache, Redshift, and EFS . Deep understanding and hands-on experience inKubernetes . Solid programming and scripting skills inGroovy, Python , andBash . Expertise withCI/CD toolssuch asJenkins, Spinnaker, and ArgoCD . Hands-on experience withInfrastructure as Code (IaC)tools such asTerraform . Deep understanding ofAWS security best practices , including IAM roles, policies, encryption, and key management. Proficiency incontainer orchestration(Kubernetes, Docker) andmonitoring/observability tools(CloudWatch, New Relic, Prometheus). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in cross-functional Agile teams.Nice to Have AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional Experience designing hybrid or multi-cloud architectures Exposure to cost governance and FinOps practicesWhy Join Sureify?
