Job Description:

  • Connection Design: Develop and design structural connections for steel, concrete, and composite structures. Ensure designs are efficient, cost-effective, and meet project requirements.
  • Idea Statica Expertise: Utilize Idea Statica software for detailed analysis and design of structural connections. Perform checks and validations to ensure design integrity.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct detailed technical analyses and simulations to evaluate the performance of connection designs under various loading conditions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate connection designs into overall structural plans.
  • Standards and Codes Compliance: Ensure that all connection designs comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, design calculations, and technical documentation for review and submission.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and validate connection designs to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve design challenges and issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in connection design, with a strong focus on using Idea Statica software.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Idea Statica software for connection design and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, design codes, and standards.
  • Experience with steel, concrete, and composite connection design.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
