About the role:The General Ledger Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.Interested candidates can apply directly via LinkedIn or send their resume to: shine.albert@hcltech.comKey Responsibilities:- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded. - Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies. - Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. - Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules. - Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. - Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. - Assist in the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
