Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Wealth Management Solution Architect who brings a unique blend of robust technical expertise and deep wealth management industry knowledge. With 15-20 years of experience, the ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ambition to adopt emerging technologies, particularly in the AI space, to build commercially viable solutions. You will be responsible for designing end-to-end architectures that address gaps and white spaces in the wealth management domain, leading solution definition, and overseeing complex implementation programs in a global delivery setup.

Key Responsibilities :

- Strategic Solution Design : Lead the design of end-to-end software solutions for the wealth management domain, ensuring alignment of technical strategy with business goals. Identify innovative hypotheses based on current and future trends to build commercially viable solutions that address industry gaps.

- Wealth Management Domain Expertise : Leverage in-depth knowledge of wealth management concepts across the front, middle, and back office. Possess strong domain understanding across one or more WM and Financial Advisor Value Chain processes such as Client onboarding, Relationship 360-degree summary view, Goal-based planning, Goal monitoring, Trade order management, Trade execution, Post Trade processing, Accounting, Reconciliation, Corporate actions processing, Performance measurement, and Client reporting.

- Specialized Financial Instruments Knowledge : Apply specialization in areas such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, mutual funds, private banking, hedge funds, private equity fund accounting, SMAs, and pension funds.

- Emerging Technology Adoption : Maintain constant, up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends in the Wealth Management Industry and the emergence of the FinTech ecosystem. Proactively propose and integrate emerging technologies, with a strong emphasis on Generative AI for building innovative solutions.

- Architecture & Implementation Leadership : Lead the definition of technical architecture and solution design, overseeing end-to-end implementation programs. This includes defining the tech stack for proposed solutions and leading effort estimation.

- Modern Architecture Principles : Proven track record of building commercially viable WM solutions covering MACH principles Microservices, APIs, Cloud, and Headless Architecture.

- Stakeholder & Team Collaboration : Work effectively with multiple technical teams to drive solution development. Manage internal and external stakeholders, including mandatory hands-on interaction with the C-Suite (both business and technology).

- Program Management & Roadmap : Utilize 5+ years of hands-on experience with target operating model definition, business case creation, program roadmap definition, and organizational change management.

- Global Delivery & Communication : Experience working with clients across multiple regions (USA, UK, Europe) in a global delivery setup. Possess excellent presentation skills with crisp and clear articulation of complex solutions.

Required Technical Skills :

- 15 20 years of experience in the Wealth Management industry or IT services industry with a focus on WM / financial services verticals.

- Deep domain understanding across Wealth Management and Financial Advisor Value Chain processes (as detailed in Key Responsibilities).

- Specialization in various financial instruments and investment vehicles (equities, fixed income, derivatives, mutual funds, private banking, etc.).

- Proven track record of building commercially viable WM solutions using Microservices, APIs, Cloud, and Headless Architecture (MACH principles).

- Experience in Architecture definition, Solution Design, and overseeing end-to-end implementation programs.

- Ability to define technical stacks for proposed solutions.

- Proficiency in effort estimation for development projects.

- Strong understanding of emerging trends and technologies in the AI space.

- Experience building Generative AI-based solutions is a significant plus.

Familiarity with WM Industry COTS products such as :

- FIS Unity Wealth platform, Temenos Wealth Management.

- Financial planning tools like Naviplan.

- SAAS products like InvestCloud.

- Trade order management products such as Charles River, Front Arena, Fidessa.

- Accounting products such as Eagle, Advent Geneva.

- Performance measurement products such as Addepar, BISAM B-One, Statpro.

Qualifications & Attributes :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives.

- Ability to work effectively with multiple technical teams and drive solution development.

- Highly adaptable to emerging technologies and changing business landscapes.
