Summary :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Security Engineer at Fakeeh Technologies in Trivandrum.

The Software Security Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing security measures to protect software systems and data.

Job Description :

- Perform comprehensive assessments on web and mobile applications to uncover security risks using static and dynamic analysis methodologies.

- Provide actionable recommendations to mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure secure coding practices are adhered to by development teams.

- Lead regular security audits to ensure adherence to high security standards and industry regulations before product deployment.

- Providing security requirements for test- driven design

- Producing metrics reporting the state of application security programs and performance of development teams against requirements

- Ensuring the change & release management follows the defined processes & guidelines for application security

- Ensuring that developers and QA personnel are trained with the appropriate level of security knowledge to perform their daily activities

- Improving and supporting application security tool deployments including static analysis and runtime testing tools Improving and maintaining secure development standards

- Supporting the incident response and architecture review processes whenever application security expertise is needed

- Managing penetration testing services, including both expert consulting and managed services

- Providing manual penetration testing and standards gap analysis services to internal business and technology partners

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in securing applications and performing vulnerability assessments on web and mobile platforms.

- Proficiency in C#, Angular, Java, Kotlin, Swift, and Dart for web and mobile development.

- Experience with security tools such as static and dynamic application security testing (SAST/DAST), dependency scanning, and vulnerability management platforms.

- The candidate should have familiarity with a variety of development and testing tools, including : AppScan tools, checkmarx, Qualys, Burp Suite, WAF, MobSF, Frida, Jenkins and etc.

- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, specifically in AWS environments.

- Experience with API Eco System and API security

- Experience with cross-platform development (iOS, Android & Web)

- Strong understanding of security regulations and secure coding standards.

Educational Background : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
