Technical Project Manager – Databricks
Experience:
14–19 Years
Location:
Kolkata Work Mode: As per project requirement Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong expertise in Databricks, Data Engineering, and Cloud technologies . The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end data and analytics projects, coordinating with technical teams and stakeholders, and ensuring timely and quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of Data Engineering / Databricks projects . Lead and coordinate cross-functional technical teams, including Data Engineers, Architects, and Developers. Strong hands-on understanding of Databricks, PySpark, Spark, SQL, and data pipelines . Experience working with Azure/AWS/GCP cloud platforms and modern data architecture. Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Work closely with Data Architects and Engineering teams on solution design and implementation. Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and drive mitigation plans. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior stakeholders. Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies and project governance standards. Support technical discussions, design reviews, and production implementation. Mandatory
Skills:
~14–19 years of overall IT experience ~ Strong experience in Technical Project Management ~ Strong experience with Databricks ~ Good understanding of Data Engineering / Data Warehousing ~ Experience with Spark / PySpark / SQL ~ Experience with at least one cloud platform – Azure / AWS / GCP ~ Strong stakeholder and team management skills ~ Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology ~ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Preferred: Databricks certification Experience managing large-scale data transformation/cloud migration projects Knowledge of Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, Kafka or similar data technologies Experience working with enterprise/global clients
