Job Summary:

Prepare & manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other related

documentation.

 Provide guidance to users, administrators, management, auditors, external parties etc. as

required and resolve critical issues.

 Manage compliances related to FDI, IP, data privacy, exports, imports, sales and

distribution of electronic goods domestically and internationally, etc.

 Assist the functional teams in adhering to all the statutory and regulatory requirements

and monitor their compliance performance.

 Implement internal monitoring & control systems to ensure adherence to the compliance

framework.

 Publish monthly compliance report to leadership showing compliance status of

submissions and approvals proactively identify & highlight risk areas with proposed

solutions for risk mitigation.

 Assess the impact of amendment/guidelines/new laws along with the functions and

necessary changes.

 Conduct risk-based assessments on processes in order to better determine areas of focus

for internal controls.

 Evaluating the design effectiveness of internal control processes.

 Conduct compliance testing of areas that pose high regulatory risks.

 Identifying and working on new areas of compliances.

 Advising business and commercial teams on new business models by highlighting the

potential legal issues, risks, and working with them to develop and implement appropriate

risk-mitigation strategies.

 Prioritizing and judging what matter should be handled internally or by outside counsels

and managing the external counsels effectively.


Skills and Qualifications:

 LL.B from a recognized university in India.

 5-7 years of experience.

 Expert in handling compliances (domestic and international). Preferred experience in

technology, IP, export-import laws as an in-house counsel or as a part of a law firm.

 Ability to work efficiently and proactively on multiple projects under tight deadlines

while maintaining a commitment to quality.

 Strong verbal and analytical skills, interpersonal skills and cross-cultural skills.

 Team-oriented.

 Flawless language and drafting skills.

 Solid business acumen and willingness to work in an unstructured working environment

and ability to interact comfortably with business and management persons.
