Job Summary

The Executive for Financial Operations, Reconciliation, and Payment Initiation in an NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) plays a critical role in ensuring seamless financial operations, accurate reconciliation of accounts, and timely execution of payments. The role demands high accuracy, adherence to regulatory norms, and efficient handling of daily transactions to support the organization's financial integrity and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Financial Operations:

- Oversee day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

- Process payments related to loans, vendor settlements, and other financial obligations.

- Monitor and track fund utilization to ensure liquidity for operational needs.

2. Reconciliation;

- Conduct daily and periodic reconciliation of bank accounts and financial statements.

- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in transactions, ensuring all records align with bank and internal systems.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of reconciliation activities for audits and reviews.

3. Payment Initiation and Processing:

- Initiate and verify payments via NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, and other banking systems.

- Ensure timely processing of disbursements, refunds, and collections as per the organization's policies.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to validate payment requests and documentation.

4. Risk Management and Compliance:

- Implement robust controls to prevent payment errors, fraud, or unauthorized transactions.

- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, NBFC norms, and other relevant financial regulations.

- Assist in preparing compliance reports for internal and external audits.

5. Reporting and Documentation:

- Generate and analyze periodic financial and reconciliation reports to provide insights to management.

- Maintain up-to-date records of financial operations and reconciliations for regulatory and audit purposes.

6. Process Optimization:

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

- Work closely with IT and automation teams to integrate fintech solutions and digital tools.

Qualifications and Skills Educational Background: Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Experience: 4-5 years of experience in financial operations, reconciliation, or payment processing roles, preferably in an NBFC or financial institution.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in accounting and financial software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or Oracle).

- Familiarity with banking platforms and digital payment systems.

- Advanced Excel skills for reconciliation and reporting.

Key Competencies:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.

- Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
