Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer to join our team for the development, integration, and maintenance of transportation management systems and toll operation. The role will involve creating robust ASP.NET, .NET Core, WinForms, and Windows Service applications, interfacing with ANPR cameras, RFID systems, Weighbridge integration, LED Integration, Announcement system integration, Metal sensor integration, Sensor, and Payment gateways, and handling backend operations with MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. This position requires expertise in both backend systems and software-hardware integration to ensure seamless transportation and toll operations.


Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain applications using ASP.NET, WinForms, and Windows Service.

Have Strong Knowledge of Microsoft .Net Stack development and OOPS Concept.

Having familiarity with Socket Programming, Multithreading, Background Worker Process, Sync-Async Programming.

Integrate hardware systems such as ANPR cameras, RFID readers, vehicle classification sensors, and barrier gates.

Develop Windows Services to handle background tasks like real-time data processing and device communication.

Build secure payment integrations to support cashless transactions using payment gateways.

Create APIs (RESTful/SOAP) to connect toll plaza systems with other applications for reporting, reconciliation, and traffic monitoring.

Work with MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases to manage data storage, reporting, and transaction logs.

Monitor and optimize system performance and data flow between hardware and software components.

Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all system components and databases.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop use cases, and deploy applications.

Develop dashboards and reporting tools for real-time monitoring and analytics on vehicle registration, plant operation, vehicle traffic, toll collection, and system performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in both software and hardware interfaces.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in developing applications using ASP.NET, .NET Core, and WinForms.

Experience in creating and managing Windows Services.

Proficiency with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases.

Strong skills in API development and integration (RESTful and SOAP).

Familiarity with IoT devices such as ANPR cameras, RFID readers, and vehicle sensors.

Solid understanding of payment gateway integration.

Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP) and device interfacing.

Hands-on experience in data optimization and query performance tuning for relational databases.

Understanding of security best practices for both software and database management.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.


Preferred Skills:

Experience in toll management systems or transport automation projects.


Soft Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in teams.

Good time-management skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.

Attention to detail and a focus on quality assurance.
