Role : Data Engineer

Location : Bangalore

Experience : 3+ Yrs.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch processing using Apache Spark in Big Data projects.

- Utilize Scala programming language to implement efficient data processing solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design appropriate data models and architectures.

- Implement DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment of data pipelines.

- Evaluate and integrate NoSQL databases into the data ecosystem as needed.

- Explore and implement visualization tools to provide insights into data for stakeholders.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience working with Apache Spark in Big Data projects for Batch Processing.

- Proficiency in Scala programming language.

- Understanding of DevOps practices and experience with related tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with at least one NoSQL database (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Experience with any visualization tools.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication & teamwork skills.

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform will be added advantage.

- Familiarity with streaming data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Kafka).

- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

- Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty, Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark).
