About the Brand:
Mother Sparsh (backed by ITC) initiated its journey around 4 years back intending to provide the best of the skincare/healthcare products for babies and mothers. In a short span, we have made the right innovations by developing the gentlest product for babies and the environment as well. The brand has made its mark with India's First "Eco-friendly Water-based wipes" and later launched the "Plant-Powered” baby care range. In this short duration, we have been awarded many prestigious awards and are known among India’s top baby care startups. The brand has registered 4x growth in the last 2 financial quarters & known to be the leading D2C venture in the Indian market.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic "Creative Design Head" to lead our team of graphic designers and video editors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creative design, with a preference for those with experience in FMCG, brand management, or marketing agencies. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Suite, CorelDRAW, and others is essential. The role involves overseeing the design team, ensuring consistent and innovative design across all our creatives and social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design process from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Deliver excellent and dynamic designs that elevate the brand’s presence across various platforms including digital, print, and social media.
- Provide hands-on expertise in Adobe Suite tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.) to ensure the team's output meets industry standards.
- Lead and inspire a creative design team of 5-6 designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment.
- Mentor and manage the design team, providing feedback, training, and development opportunities.
- Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring each project is completed on time and aligns with brand goals.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and other cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and aligned design strategies.
- Ensure that all creatives, including those for social media, web, packaging, and promotional materials, maintain consistency with the Brand’s visual identity.
- Maintain and enhance the visual identity by developing brand guidelines and ensuring all creative outputs adhere to these standards.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, technologies, and tools within the creative industry, especially those relevant to FMCG/brand marketing.
- Review and approve all design materials before release, ensuring high-quality and impactful visuals.
- Regularly audit and update design assets to maintain fresh, cutting-edge visuals that appeal to target audiences.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and innovative work environment within the creative team
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in creative design, with significant experience working in FMCG, brand marketing, or at a marketing agency.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design tools.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams.
