Title : Staff Engineer Windows Device driver Development
Location : Bangalore
Exp : 9-12 Years
Looking for Software Engineer to contribute in the application compatibility and performance optimization on Windows on ARM product. The person will have the responsibility to optimize performance of popular applications used on Windows platform including middleware working with ISVs Microsoft or internal teams on different Windows on Snapdragon products and driving best in class performance and user experience.
The ideal candidate needs to have :
- Strong at programming/debugging ability C/C++ thread-based programming.
- Good understanding of compilers such as Visual Studio/LLVM/GCC.
- Good understanding of Windows Internals and familiar with application frameworks such as .Net/Chromium, Electron etc.
- Good understanding of Operating System concepts such as Process/threads/IPC performance optimization techniques.
- Good to have familirity with ARM SOC architecture understanding of ARM assembly programming and debugging.
- Hands on Experience with building application on MAC platform and performance analysis/optimization is plus.
- Communication, written & interpersonal skills, motivation, the ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to co-ordinate across stakeholders and Task management.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in engineering with 10 years experience, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field or related work experience.
OR
- Masters degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
