At MaxVal, we do the right things and innovate ceaselessly as a winning team to achieve customer success and employee success.Responsibilities:Install, configure, upgrade, and maintainSQL ServerandMongoDBdatabases. Managedatabase security, access control, and auditing. Performdatabase backup, restore, disaster recovery, and high availability setup. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimizedatabase performance, queries, and indexing. Implement and maintainreplication, clustering, and shardingas needed. Work with developers tooptimize queries, stored procedures, and schema designs. Automate routine DBA tasks usingscripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python). Collaborate with DevOps teams forCI/CD integration and cloud database deployments. Provide24x7 production supportfor critical database systems on a rotational basis. Maintain documentation for standards, processes, and troubleshooting guides.Requirements: Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 1-2 years of proven experience as aDatabase Administrator (SQL & MongoDB). Strong knowledge ofSQL Server administration(installation, clustering, HA/DR, tuning). Hands-on experience withMongoDB administration(replica sets, sharding, upgrades, backups). Proficiency in writing and optimizingSQL queries & stored procedures. Understanding ofNoSQL vs. RDBMS concepts and architectures. Experience withdatabase monitoring tools(SQL Profiler, MongoDB Atlas, Grafana). Strong understanding ofsecurity, compliance, and data governance best practices. Knowledge ofscripting languagesfor automationPreferred Qualifications Experience withcloud database platforms(AWS RDS, Azure SQL, MongoDB Atlas). Familiarity withKubernetes, containers, and database orchestration. Exposure toAgile/DevOps practicesand CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge ofbig data ecosystemsand integration with analytics tools.Website Link:
