About Our Client: One of our esteemed clients, a leading European manufacturer of industrial equipment, is seeking a talented Managing Director to spearhead their operations in Coimbatore, India. With a focus on innovation and quality, our client has established themselves as a trusted provider of manufacturing, production, and R&D services.
Position Overview: The Managing Director will play a pivotal role in leading our client's operations in Coimbatore, India, and driving growth within the Indian market. This role requires strategic vision, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of the Indian industrial landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our client's presence and market share in India.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Coimbatore team to achieve operational excellence and exceed performance targets.
- Oversee manufacturing processes, production activities, and R&D initiatives to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement to enhance our client's product offerings and maintain competitiveness.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the organization.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards to uphold our client's reputation for quality and reliability.
- Represent our client at industry events and forums to promote brand awareness and identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in senior management roles within the manufacturing industry, ideally in industrial equipment.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian market dynamics, including regulatory requirements and customer preferences.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
