Role Overview :We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain integration layers between applications, systems, and services. This role focuses on building robust middleware components, message queues, API gateways, and microservice orchestration to ensure seamless and reliable system-to-system communication across our enterprise ecosystem.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain integration flows between front-end, back-end, and external systems.- Implement and manage middleware components such as ESB flows, message queues, and APIs.- Develop and manage microservice orchestration for scalable, real-time integrations.- Ensure integrations are secure, fault-tolerant, and high-performing.- Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, and application teams to deliver end-to-end integration solutions.- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration pipelines to ensure high availability and reliability.- Maintain documentation for integration workflows, APIs, and system interactions.Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- 38 years of experience in middleware or integration-focused roles.- Strong expertise in API development, API Gateways, and ESB solutions.- Hands-on experience with integration frameworks and messaging systems such as: Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, MuleSoft, or similar platforms.- Proficiency in microservices architecture and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes preferred).- Experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and related protocols.- Familiarity with security standards like OAuth, JWT, and SSL/TLS.- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.Nice-to-Have / Preferred Skills : - Experience with cloud-based integration services (AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, Google Apigee, etc.).- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for integration deployment.- Exposure to real-time data streaming and high-throughput systems.Key Deliverables :- Reliable, secure, and scalable integration flows connecting diverse systems.- Documentation and maintenance of integration architecture and workflows.- Continuous improvement of integration pipelines for performance, stability, and maintainability.Value Proposition :This role is critical in environments where multiple platforms exchange data in real time with high throughput and zero downtime, enabling seamless communication and supporting mission-critical business processes.
