We're seeking a future team member for the role ofVice President, POMProduct Owner I to join our team. This role is inPune – HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make animpact in the following ways:
- Higher level of experience and expertise inproduct management. Responsible for strategic product planning,managing multiple product backlogs and mentoring junior Productowners.
- Product Execution: Able to writespecs for minor features and contribute meaningfully to specs formajor features. Able to negotiate the implementation of currentwork, make the right trade-off decisions to launch products in ahigh quality manner. Knows when to escalate to managers. Works withteams to make recommendations that deliver maximum value to endusers as quickly as possible. Can efficiently assess the qualityand readiness of a release.
- CustomerInsights: Formulates the right business questions to be asked andknows how to track down data to inform decisions. Can use lowfidelity tools to outline a design approach and then work withteams to translate them into higher fidelity representation of thefeature.
- Makes regular contact withusers of product and uses multiple sources to prioritize roadmapdecisions. Product Strategy: Understand business outcomes and howproduct decisions impact tradeoffs. Responsible for crafting anear-term product roadmap (in partnership with manager) and cancommunicate to junior team members.
- Primaryresponsibilities include: Full ownership of the product backlog andnear term roadmap, ensuring that it is properly refined,prioritized and groomed.
- Agile CeremonyOwnership across POD and includes tracking velocity and identifyingefficiencies for teams. Ownership of user stories, refinementprocess and Stakeholder Management (ongoing collaboration andupdates).
- Ownership of technical designdecisions, performs product performance monitoring, track andanalyze key product metrics.Modified based upon localregulations/requirements.
To be successful in this role, we're seekingthe following:
- Bachelor's degree in business management or arelated discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 8-14years of product experience, 5-7 years in a financialindustry
