Role Purpose We are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager who will own Winfomi’s day-to-day finance operations, project-wise financial control, budgeting, and forecasting, while working closely with external CA firms for statutory and compliance matters. This role is critical in enabling leadership to take timely, data-backed business decisions as Winfomi scales.Key ResponsibilitiesFinance Operations & Accounting (In-House Ownership)Own end-to-end invoice processing (client invoices, credit notes, follow-ups)Track accounts receivable, payable, and cash flowMaintain accurate books and ensure data readiness before sharing with external CAManage expense tracking and approvals in line with company policyCoordinate vendor payments and ensure payment disciplineProject-wise Financial ControlPrepare and maintain project-wise P&L (revenue, cost, margin)Compare estimated vs actual cost and flag margin risks earlyWork with delivery and HR teams to track project costs accuratelyProvide insights on project profitability and efficiencyBudgeting & ForecastingPrepare annual and monthly budgetsMaintain rolling 3–6 month cash flow forecastsAnalyze budget vs actuals and highlight variancesSupport leadership with scenario planning (hiring, tools, expansion)MIS & Decision SupportPrepare monthly MIS reports for leadershipProvide clear, simple financial insights (not heavy finance jargon)Answer key questions such as:Can we afford a new hire?Which projects or clients are most profitable?Where are costs increasing unexpectedly?External CA & Compliance CoordinationAct as the single point of contact for external CA firmsEnsure timely sharing of clean, accurate financial dataSupport GST, TDS, income tax, audit, and statutory filingsFollow up on compliance timelines and closureProcess Building & Financial DisciplineDefine and improve finance SOPs (invoicing, expenses, approvals)Strengthen internal financial controlsImprove accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of financial dataSupport leadership in building a finance-first cultureReporting StructureReports directly to the Founder & CEOWorks closely with HR, Delivery Leads, Sales, and External CARequired Experience5–8 years of experience in finance / accounting rolesExperience in IT services, consulting, or project-based organizations preferredPrior experience working with external CA firms is mandatoryRequired SkillsStrong understanding of project costing & P&LGood working knowledge of Indian accounting & taxation basicsStrong proficiency in Excel / Google SheetsAbility to simplify numbers into actionable insightsHigh ownership mindset and attention to detailDesired Traits (Very Important)Hands-on and execution-orientedCalm, disciplined, and trustworthyComfortable in a fast-growing, evolving environmentAble to question numbers and highlight risks respectfullyAligns with Winfomi’s values of Customer Success, Innovation, and TrustWhat Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)Clean, reliable monthly financial reportsClear visibility into project-wise profitabilityImproved cash flow predictabilityReduced dependency on external CA for internal finance clarityLeadership can make faster, confident financial decisionsGrowth Opportunity As Winfomi scales, this role has the potential to evolve into a Head of Finance / Finance Controller role, based on performance and business needs.Closing Note “This role is not about maintaining accounts.It is about building financial clarity that fuels growth.”
