Description : Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain applications using RPG, RPG ILE, RPG Free, SQLRPGLE, RPG/400, and CL on iSeries (AS/400) architecture.- Work extensively with DDS, DB2, and SQL to build robust database-driven programs.- Perform program analysis, code enhancements, and troubleshooting for existing systems.- Utilize AS400 Query, MS Excel, Client Access, and other integration tools effectively.- Develop and maintain FTP/SFTP and Web Services interfaces for data exchange.- Ensure adherence to software development standards and documentation practices.- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into efficient solutions.- Apply strong analytical skills to optimize application performance and ensure data integrity.Required Skills & Experience :- 6+ years of relevant experience in RPG/AS400 development.- Proven expertise in SQLRPGLE, RPG/400, ILE/RPG, RPG Free, CL, DDS, and DB2.- Proficiency in XML, DDM, FTP/SFTP, and Web Services.- Hands-on experience with AS400 Query, Client Access, and iSeries operations.- Excellent understanding of both software and hardware systems and their business applications.- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).- Knowledge of EDI processes will be an added advantage.
