Senior Murex Tester/QA Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Murex Tester / QA Analyst with extensive experience in Murex implementation and testing, particularly in Treasury and Capital Markets. The ideal candidate will play a key role in validating system functionality across Front Office (FO), Middle Office (MO), Back Office (BO), and Risk domains, ensuring high-quality releases across greenfield projects, migrations, and system upgrades.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand functional requirements.

- Develop detailed and effective test cases for Murex FO/MO/BO workflows.

- Design, plan, and execute Functional Integration Testing (FIT), Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles.

- Monitor and troubleshoot End-of-Day (EOD) batch processing in Murex test environments.

- Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to investigate and resolve test issues and environment defects.

- Create and maintain automated test suites (experience in Onyx is a strong advantage).

- Execute automation scripts across release cycles to ensure consistency and stability.

- Produce comprehensive test closure reports and maintain test evidence for each release cycle.

- Manage defect tracking and resolution through a structured defect lifecycle process.

- Ensure release quality through rigorous testing and sign-off procedures.

Required Qualifications :

- 9+ years of hands-on experience in Murex testing and implementation (Murex 3.1 preferred).

- Proven track record in greenfield implementations, system migrations, and version upgrades.

- In-depth functional knowledge of Treasury and Fixed Income products.

- Strong experience testing across Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Collateral, and interfaces.

- Proficiency in writing test cases, defining acceptance criteria, and executing manual tests.

- Exposure to EOD batch cycles and troubleshooting in Murex environments.

- Familiarity with automation tools Onyx proficiency is a significant plus.

- Strong analytical, communication, and defect management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Back Office processing in Murex.

- Experience in working within Agile delivery models.

- ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
