x86 BIOS/UEFI Development Engineer.


Key Responsibilities :


BIOS/UEFI Development : Develop and maintain x86 BIOS/UEFI firmware, ensuring compatibility and performance across different platforms. Utilize expertise in C programming to write, debug, and optimize BIOS/UEFI code.


Codebase Familiarity : Work with at least one BIOS codebase such as AMI, Insyde, or Phoenix BIOS. Engage in the opensource coreboot project, focusing on mainboard-related porting tasks.


Build Processes : Utilize understanding of coreboot and Intel FSP (Firmware Support Package) build tools and processes to manage firmware builds. Work with various coreboot payloads, including edk2, SeaBios, and Tianocore, to ensure robust and flexible firmware solutions.


Platform Bring-Up : Conduct platform bring-up activities, working with x86 CPU/APU architectures and associated compilation tools. Read and interpret platform hardware and processor specifications to facilitate coreboot mainboard porting.


Firmware Development : Develop and port UEFI code to FSP, leveraging a solid understanding of the UEFI framework. Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure firmware solutions are aligned with platform specifications and requirements.
