Job Description

As an Integration and Validation Engineer, your mission will be to ensure the integration of components and the validation of our applications. Within the application division of our IT department, you will play a key role in the implementation of the testing and integration processes, ensuring that the various internal applications and tools developed, for the needs of the different business lines (HR, Business, Delivery,...), meet the functional and technical requirements before they are put into production.

Technical skills:

  • Knowledge of testing processes and methodologies (ISTQB is an asset).
  • Familiarity with continuous integration (CI/CD) tools such as GitLab CI.
  • Experience in automated testing and use of frameworks (Selenium, JUnit, etc.).
  • Knowledge of the technologies used in the development of our tools is an asset (Java, Spring Cloud, Docker, Angular, MSSQL Server, PHP Symfony, C# and .NET, VBA)

Desired profile

  • Education: Bac+5 in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in the field of integration and validation, preferably in a technical or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Application Integration: Ensure the integration of the various software components. Collaborate with development teams to integrate features into the test environment.
  • Definition of the testing strategy: establish the overall approach and specify the different steps, predict the needs and choose the methods to ensure the quality of the developments
  • Test Plan Definition: Write and execute test plans based on technical requirements and use cases.
  • Test environment management: control of tested application versions and ecosystem, management of test datasets.
  • Define the test strategy for each application version: based on the analysis of the functional impacts of embedded developments, identify the test coverage: new functionality tests, correction tests, non-regression tests.
  • Validation Testing: Perform functional, performance, safety, and reliability tests to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Anomaly Management: Identify and document anomalies (observed during tests and production feedback), work with the relevant teams for their resolution, and follow up on corrections.
  • Test Automation: Participate in the implementation of automated tests in continuous integration (CI/CD) environments to improve the efficiency of the validation process.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document test results and anomalies, and provide regular reports on validation status and quality indicators.

    • Good communication skills and team player.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
    • Very good level of French and English (English-speaking team)
