  • Snowflake Platform: In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices.
  • Data modelling: A good understanding of data modelling for warehouse / data lake
  • SQL Proficiency: Strong skills in SQL for querying, managing, and optimizing data within Snowflake.
  • Performance Tuning: Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and managing Snowflake’s compute and storage resources.
  • Security Management: Understanding of Snowflake security features, RBAC model, including user roles, access controls, and data encryption.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proficiency in using Snowflake’s monitoring tools and dashboards to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Admin activities: Understanding of Time travel, DR strategy, Data sharing
  • Stream lit in Snowflake: basic understanding would be good

Certification Requirements

  • Snowpro core - Must have
  • Snowflake Architect - Preferred to have

Hands-On Experience:

  • At least 3+ years working in snowflake.
  • and 7+ years working in other databases / data warehouses / data lakes
