Ø Purpose of Position


  • To be part of Marine & Offshore Mumbai Shared Service Center
  • Understand the Bureau Veritas Information Security Policy and the current set of M&O applications
  • Collaborate with Information Security Officer, Delivery teams and BV Group Security teams on all aspects related to information/cyber security
  • Assist in ensuring GDPR, BitSight and NIST compliance for the Marine and Offshore applications/processes
  • Perform in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy


Ø Major Responsibilities


  • Assisting application leads/managers on actions to ensure GDPR and Security By Design compliance
  • Tracking NIST and BitSight compliance and collaborating with delivery teams on the gaps identified to ensure compliance
  • Ensuring cyber-awareness with the help of informative emails, awareness sessions and creation of security trainings on the security platform provided
  • Creation of Phishing campaigns on the security platform provided
  • Keeping the security portal updated with latest developments and managing access to the portal
  • Tracking compliances for servers and workstations for the Marine and Offshore operating group
  • Measuring and tracking the KPIs across all security related controls
  • Follow up on closure of vulnerabilities identified during GDPR audits and vulnerability assessment of applications
  • Creating weekly/monthly reports as required
