Associate - Indirect Tax Location: Delhi, NCR Experience required: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience About Trilegal: Trilegal is a leading full-service law firm in India with over 25 years of experience, trusted for its in-depth expertise and client-centric approach. The firm advises a diverse set of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, global investment funds, major Indian conglomerates, domestic and international banks, technology and media giants, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals Role Overview: We are seeking to onboard Indirect Tax professionals with around 1 year of experience in client advisory and litigation. The key responsibilities for this role include: Key Responsibilities: Demonstrating strong analytical skills, including the ability to conduct research using legal databases. Possessing knowledge of case laws within the relevant legal framework, staying informed about regulatory updates, and understanding their impact on assigned clients. Having proficiency in English and excellent drafting skills. Creating and disseminating updates on the latest trends to the team. Conducting quick research to develop a theoretical understanding of laws and acts. Required Skillset: Advising clients on various aspects of GST (must) and Customs, State Excise, SEZ laws (preferred). Handling litigation and investigation assignments, including drafting replies, appeals, and briefing counsels and senior counsels.
