Job Summary & Responsibilities :

We are seeking a highly experienced and immediately available Senior SQL Server DBA to join our team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of our SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. You will have expertise in database administration, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and performance tuning. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a candidate who can start immediately.

Database Administration :

- Create, delete, update, monitor, and manage SQL Server databases.

- Ensure database availability, integrity, and security.

- Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies.

- Perform database refreshes and disk cloning activities.

SSIS Administration :

- Full control over SSIS packages, including creation, execution, and administration.

- Troubleshoot and resolve SSIS package issues.

SSAS Cube Management :

- Expertise in managing SSAS cubes, data sources, dimensions, measures, and hierarchies.

- Optimize SSAS cube performance.

SSRS Reporting :

- Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

- Develop and maintain SSRS reports.

Security and Patch Management:

- Check for software updates (patches) and vulnerabilities reported by the Security team.

- Apply patches as necessary to maintain system security.

Monitoring and Performance Tuning :

- Monitor SQL Server resources using performance monitor, task manager, and DMVs.

- Utilize New Relic or Ivanti One for advanced monitoring.

- Perform performance tuning and resolve system performance issues.

Deployment and Maintenance :

- Manage code deployments related to databases.

- Schedule and manage SQL jobs.

- Provide 24/7 on-call support as needed.

Requirements :

- 6-10 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.

- Strong expertise in SQL Server database administration.

- Full control over SSIS packages, execution, and administration.

- Expertise in managing SSAS cubes.

- Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

- Experience with monitoring tools like New Relic or Ivanti One.

- Proficiency in performance tuning and troubleshooting.

- Experience with backup and recovery procedures.

- Knowledge of security patching and vulnerability management.

- Experience with SQL job scheduling.

- Ability to start immediately.

- Full-time, on-site availability in Hyderabad.
