About the Role :


We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright or Puppeteer and strong skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for both web and mobile applications. Your role will involve working closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure the quality and functionality of our products through automated testing.

Key Responsibilities :


- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright or Puppeteer for both web and mobile applications.

- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code to ensure that tests can be easily maintained and scaled.

- Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration (CI) pipeline to ensure early detection of issues.

- Develop automated System Integration test cases based on an understanding of the integrated systems within the application.

- Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of testing frameworks and practices across teams.

- Collaborate with the UX/UI teams to ensure the application meets the highest standards of usability and functionality, identifying potential issues or opportunities for improvement.


- Execute automated tests and report on results, identifying issues and providing actionable feedback to development teams.

- Track and manage defects found during test execution, ensuring proper follow-up and resolution.

- Use agile methodologies to continuously iterate on test scripts, adapting to changing requirements and ensuring test coverage remains comprehensive.

- Stay up to date with the latest trends in test automation, testing frameworks, and software development practices.

- Be open to learning new tools and technologies as the team explores innovative solutions to improve testing efficiency and product quality.

- Continuously improve testing practices and explore new ways to optimize the testing lifecycle.

- Have a strong understanding of UX/UI principles and actively identify opportunities for improvement during test cycles.

- Provide feedback to the design and product teams on usability issues, offering suggestions for enhancing the user experience.

- Ensure that user-facing features meet design specifications and quality standards by conducting thorough testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications :


Experience :


- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright or Puppeteer for automating browser interactions.

- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, with experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.

- Knowledge of agile development methodologies, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced and dynamic environments.

- Familiarity with various testing tools and methodologies for both web and mobile applications.

- Strong experience in creating System Integration test cases by understanding the integrated systems within a product.

- A solid understanding of UX/UI principles, with the ability to identify issues and opportunities for improvement in the product's interface
