Responsibilities :

- Lead the management, planning, scheduling, and controlling of software builds through various stages and environments.

- Coordinate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure alignment of release plans with project timelines and business objectives.

- Act as a gatekeeper to ensure the integrity of live technical and business aspects during deployment.

- Work to minimize risks and maximize product quality before and during deployment.

- Provide strategic oversight to streamline the transition of software from development to operational stages.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve release-related issues and dependencies.

- Develop and maintain release management processes and procedures.

- Implement and improve release automation and deployment tools and practices.

- Monitor release performance and metrics to identify areas for improvement.

- Communicate release plans, status updates, and issues to stakeholders and management.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

- Proven experience as a Release Manager or similar role.

- Experience with cloud and on-premises release management.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and release management processes.

- Excellent project management and organizational skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Experience with release automation and deployment tools.

- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
