Overview:The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI Presales Architect is a customer prospect facing role that collaborates closely with the LTI internal team Sales Bid Management Technology SMEs and Pre Sales Solution team. As a solution architect you'll work to win qualified sales pre sales opportunities and ensure that customer solutions are both operationally deliverable and profitable. Your leadership will be crucial in attaining new customers leveraging your strong understanding of Oracle Cloud service offerings and additional third party services. You'll craft large configurable repeatable pre sales solutions that align with customer requirementsLocations: Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Kolkata and Delhi NCR.Experience: 12-22 yearsExperience:o At least 12 years of consulting pre-sales or solution engineering experienceo Hands on experience architecting and implementing solutions on Oracle Cloudo Worked on large scale cloud migration projects IaaS and PaaSo Strong knowledge of migrating enterprise workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure-OCIo Familiarity with various cloud deployment models and strategieso Understanding of key OCI components such as compute storage and networko Experience with Oracle Cloud Platform as a Service PaaS offerings including VBCS, OIC, JCS, Block-chain and Kuberneteso Proficiency in infrastructure automation technologies like Terraform, Chef, and Puppeto Technical presales experienceAdditional Skills:o Experience with Oracle Exadata Cloud Service Exa CS and Exadata Cloud at Customer Exa CCo Proficiency in Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing ATPo Cloud architecture and leadership expertise with a focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure -OCIo Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise scale OCI solutionso Deep expertise in OCI services architectures and best practiceso Understanding of database technologies including SQL, Oracle MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and cloud based databasese gAWS RDSAzure SQL Databaseo Familiarity with database administration tasks such as performance tuning backup and recovery security and scalabilityo Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non technical audienceso Demonstrated experience in solution design proposal development and competitive analysiso Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams including sales engineering and product managemento Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think critically and analyticallyo Self motivated with a proactive approach to work and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyo Willingness to travel to customer sites as requiredSecurity Competencies:o Knowledge of cloud security best practices including identity and access management IAM encryption network security and complianceo Ability to design secure architectures and address security requirements for customer solutionsDisaster Recovery DR Designo Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and implementation specially for Oracle applications like EBS, JDE, PeopleSoft, Flexcube, OBIEE, ODI SOA, etc.o Experience in designing and configuring DR solutions for cloud based applications and databases
