Role Overview


We are looking for a skilled IBM Sterling B2Bi Consultant with hands-on expertise in Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling File Gateway, and ITX (IBM Transformation Extender) . The candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting B2B/EDI integration solutions to meet enterprise-level requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement B2B/EDI integrations using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi) .
  • Configure and manage Sterling File Gateway (SFG) for secure file transfers.
  • Work with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) to create and manage maps for data transformation.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions .
  • Perform administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Sterling B2Bi environments .
  • Ensure compliance with security, SLA, and performance requirements .
  • Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to client teams.


Required Skills & Experience


  • 5 – 8 years of experience in B2B/EDI integration projects .
  • Strong expertise in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi) – development, administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with Sterling File Gateway (SFG) .
  • Proficiency with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) for data transformation mapping.
  • Solid understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, etc.) and integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of secure communication protocols (SFTP, FTPS, AS2, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Exposure to high availability and clustered Sterling environments .
  • Experience with DevOps/automation for B2Bi deployments .
  • Knowledge of cloud-based B2B integration platforms .
