Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FPSL solutions to meet business and regulatory requirements.
Transformation of technical specifications in accounting (e.g. IFRS 9, HGB, US-GAAP) into the configuration of the SAP S/4HANA FPSL (Financial Products Subledger)
Collaborate with financial stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
Configure SAP FPSL to handle various financial products, ensuring accurate subledger entries and reporting.
Must have SAP FPSL configuration experience for IFRS9 or IFRS17
Must have S/4 HANA Fiori deployment and configuration experience.
Fluent knowledge of Subledger Accounting (FS-FPS-SLA)
Must have minimum 1 implementation project experience in SAP FPSL Space
Experience in configuring the business process in FPSL
Must be able to speak about the accounting entries for the different business transactions happen in SAP FPSL
Must be able to speak on the Data migration /conversion process from legacy to SAP FPSL
Must be able to speak about the Integration capabilities of FPSL with SAP/NON SAP GL and with reporting tools such as SAC, etc.
Develop and implement integration strategies with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
Conduct system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solution quality.
Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective use of FPSL functionalities.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to FPSL processes and configurations.
Stay updated with the latest SAP FPSL features, regulatory changes, and best practices, recommending improvements as necessary.
Adaptation of the FPSL data model and matching with the data of the upstream systems
