Greetings from TCS We are hiring Experienced Professionals for the role ofDesign Engineer Required Technical Skill Set - New Product Development-Automotive, Creo-Surfacing, GD&T, Packaging Design, Concept and Detail design, Windchill, Detailing Desired Experience Range - 3-10 Yrs Location of Requirement - BangaloreDesired Competencies - Creo Tool Knowledge-Surfacing, GD&T, DFX, DFA, Automotive design experience-Plastic, Sheetmetal and Casting componentsGood-to-Have -Experience in two wheeler industry, Stack-up, Creo MechanismExpectations from the Role - 1 Should be able to work independently on design conceptual jobs 2 Hands on experience in Creo-Part, Assembly and Surfacing to generate Concept Models 3 Should have hands on experience in designing of sheet metals, plastic parts. 4 Should have hands on experience in practical knowledge of GD&T, Manufacturing drawings 5 Knowledge on phases of the design process and development process for Automotive components including drafting, dimensioning, tolerancing, prototyping, ECN, PPAP and documenting results would be an added advantage 6 Knowledge on different automotive product design and sheet metal press tools, fixture and gauge design, reverse engineering, Stack-Up, VAVE would be an added advantage.
