Job Description:

Principal responsibilities

DevOps Engineer role is expected to own and manage end to end activities within team. The role holder is expected to carry out the below (not an exhaustive list):

  • Building CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure and applications to be deployed on Cloud.
  • Build and maintaining Google Cloud Platform infrastructure and keeping it up to date with no open vulnerabilities.
  • Help other teammates technical queries and enable them to deliver tasks.
  • Managing production releases and deployment.
  • Adopt and follow the Agile and DevOps principles.
  • Communicate effectively with various Business & IT teams. Collaborate effectively with global members to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Should be open to learn new technologies based on project requirements.

  • Bachelor of Engineering preferred

Requirements :

  • Must have hands on experience on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Kubernetes Engine(GKE), Google Cloud Storage (GCS), PubSub and CloudSQL with PostgreSQL
  • Must have hands on experience on Terraform, IaaC patterns to build GCP resources (like GCE, GKE, PubSub, GCS and CloudSQL), building CI/CD using Jenkins Groovy scripting.
  • Familiar with SQL queries and Unix shell scripting.
  • Must have hands on experience or understanding on DevSecOps.
  • Familiar with Internal Kubernetes Platform (IKP)
  • Good communication skills and be a team player.
  • Ability to priorities and work independently within a diverse team environment.
  • GCP certification within last 2 years or at least gone through coursera/ courses in recent time.
  • Good to have knowledge on any program language knowledge JAVA/Python.
