Overview:

We're on the lookout for a dynamic Service Engineer to join our team. The Service Engineer will be pivotal in ensuring our instruments perform optimally, delivering top-notch technical support, and upholding our service excellence standards. We're seeking someone with a solid technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a dedication to customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment at customer sites and company facilities.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely solutions.
  • Offer technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve complex technical problems and enhance product designs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including maintenance logs, service reports, and parts usage.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies during all service activities.
  • Be prepared for travel to customer sites as needed, potentially involving overnight stays.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar technical support role within manufacturing.
  • Sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging with customers and team members.
  • Capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.
