OpenLink Expert

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Cerner OpenLink Expert to join our team and support complex healthcare integration and interoperability initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Cerner OpenLink, OpenView, and Infinity Arise systems, with a proven ability to design, develop, and maintain HL7 interfaces, integration engines, and healthcare data exchange solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Integration Development & Support :

- Design, build, and maintain HL7 interfaces using Cerner OpenLink/OpenView for seamless data exchange between clinical and enterprise systems.

- Configure, customize, and optimize OpenLink engine components to meet integration and workflow requirements.

- Work with Infinity Arise systems for healthcare data integration and application interoperability.

Technical Implementation :

- Develop and implement real-time and batch integration solutions for EHR/EMR systems.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to interface performance and message delivery.

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to ensure system stability.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :

- Act as a technical point of contact between IT teams, clinical teams, and vendors to ensure accurate data flow and compliance with healthcare standards.

- Provide documentation, technical specifications, and operational support for implemented solutions.

Compliance & Best Practices :

- Ensure adherence to healthcare data security standards (HIPAA, HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, CDA).

- Maintain version control and implement change management for integration components.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Cerner OpenLink/OpenView integration engine.

- Hands-on experience with HL7 messaging standards, interface design, and development.

- Working knowledge of Infinity Arise systems and Cerner Millennium environment.

- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, EHR/EMR interoperability, and interface lifecycle management.

- Proficiency in scripting, SQL, and troubleshooting integration issues.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Familiarity with healthcare integration platforms (Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, Mirth).

- Knowledge of FHIR and modern healthcare API standards.

- Experience in remote support and global delivery models.
