Manager - Financial Due Diligence (FDD)Experience: 7+ YearsQualification: CA / CPA / MBA (Finance)About the Role:We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Manager - Financial Due Diligence (FDD) with a minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience, ideally gained within a BIG 4 / Consulting & Advisory firm. This leadership role is crucial for delivering high-impact transaction advisory services, requiring end-to-end proficiency in FDD, advanced financial analytics, and team management to successfully execute complex deals.Key Responsibilities:- FDD Execution & Delivery: Lead the planning and execution of multiple high-impact Financial Due Diligence (FDD) engagements concurrently, ensuring all deliverables meet required technical standards, firm compliance, and minimal rework.- Reporting & Analysis: Own the drafting of key technical sections of the FDD report, including the Background, Points of Interest, Quality of Earnings (QoE) adjustments, Summary Financials, and Exhibits.- Complex Financial Analysis: Conduct and lead detailed financial analyses, demonstrating expertise in modeling and assessing Net Working Capital (NWC) adjustments, Debt/Debt-like analysis, and other complex accounting adjustments critical for deal valuation.- Documentation & Compliance: Oversee the preparation and finalization of detailed Transaction Databooks/Workbooks, ensuring precision and full compliance with internal and external reporting standards.- Client and Management Interaction: Lead Management Discussions, prepare detailed presentation decks, lead technical sections in client calls, and manage complex, time-sensitive communications with senior client stakeholders and the deal team.- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as a trusted contributor on live deals, taking on direct responsibility for mentoring junior team members and ensuring consistent, high-quality technical delivery across the FDD engagement team.- Digital & Data Leverage: Actively leverage and integrate advanced Digital Tools, such as Alteryx, Power BI, and other analytics platforms, to enhance data accuracy, processing speed, and deliver differentiated analytical insights.Required Skill Set (Mandatory Skills):- Experience: 7+ years of relevant, hands-on experience focused specifically on Financial Due Diligence (FDD), gained within a BIG 4 / Consulting & Advisory firm or equivalent corporate M&A environment.- Qualification: Required professional qualifications include CA (Chartered Accountant) / CPA (Certified Public Accountant) / MBA (Finance).- Leadership: Proven Team Management / People Management experience with the ability to lead, delegate, and develop junior staff.- Technical Foundation: Strong, foundational understanding of Financial Statements, Financial Ratio analysis, Accounting Standards (IFRS/US GAAP), and complex financial concepts.Preferred Skills:- Experience with specific deal lifecycle stages (carving out vs. integration).- Expertise in a specific industry sector (Tech, Healthcare).- Advanced proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools beyond the basic level (ref:iimjobs.com)
