Role description for Manufacturing PMO
- Adhere to best practices of project management, tools and techniques while managing projects or initiatives.
- Ensure all the Project management documentation are maintained and updated. Minimally, the documentation must have scope statement of the project, Schedule, Budget, Risk register, Stakeholder register, RACI matrices, Change version control
- Establish and follow Governance for Manufacturing Operations and ensure that the decisions/ information flows as per the defined governance.
- Mentor/Coach Operations teams on best practices of project management, provide the relevant tools and techniques to enable them to manage various initiatives within their sub-domains independently.
- Publish management reporting for Manufacturing Operations in a specified frequency viz. MIS, Monthly updates, QBR, DOR, Top-20 organization goals etc.
- Improve and ideate data analytics of all the reports submitted by Manufacturing PMO from time to time.
- Collaborate regularly with MSAT and Operational excellence teams to identify initiatives that support continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.
- Drive ideas to digitize manufacturing operations, identify potential projects, collaborate in IT and Operations team to implement digitization projects in Operations
- Collaborate with CFTs including Finance for the preparation of business cases for the projects and ensure that every project has an approved business case before initiating.
- Monitor and report Opex budget performance in a defined frequency. Collaborate with Finance and Head of Operations for a periodic assessment of budget performance and the corrective actions to be taken thereof.
- Manage Operational aspects of Development portfolio viz. DS manufacturing, DP manufacturing, Transport chain validation etc.
- Partner with Quality PMO to ensure seamless flow of interfacing activities viz. batch releases, QMS document closures etc.
- Collaborate with supply chain management team for timely publishing of manufacturing plans.
- Consult and prepare individual development plan pertaining to specific skills, certifications, trainings and education. Seek support in achieving self-development goals.
- Review current systems and processes followed within Manufacturing PMO organization and improve/establish new systems and processes.
