Node.js Developer

Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js, Express, and related frameworks.- Build and maintain scalable, serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other AWS services.- Implement JWT token-based authentication and enforce secure access control mechanisms across APIs.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Frontend Engineering to deliver high-quality solutions.- Identify, assess, and implement application security best practices; patch and resolve vulnerabilities as required.- Enhance and maintain application logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure performance and reliability.- Follow best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation to ensure maintainability and scalability of applications.- Participate in code reviews, contribute to team knowledge-sharing, and support continuous improvement Skills & Qualifications :- 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with Node.js.- Proficiency in RESTful API design and integration using Express.js.- Strong understanding of JWT authentication, session management, and access control implementations.- Experience with AWS services, especially Lambda Functions and API Gateway.- Familiarity with secure coding practices and identifying potential security vulnerabilities.- Experience with application logging tools and observability systems.- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps principles.- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and perform efficient debugging and troubleshooting.- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Nice to Have :- Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
