Embedded Software Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Testing Engineer to join our team for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical software testing and be adept at defining and executing test cases independently.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for embedded software at the device level.

- Conduct thorough testing of medical software applications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, working closely with the development team for resolution.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure the quality of deliverables.

- Perform risk assessments and contribute to the overall testing strategy.

- Provide timely feedback on software quality and testing progress.

Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in embedded software testing, preferably in the medical domain.

- Strong understanding of embedded systems and hardware-software integration.

- Proven ability to define test cases and test strategies independently.

- Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools used in embedded software development.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Immediate availability to join is highly preferred.

Must have skills :

- Must have experience working as Lead Embedded Software Tester.

- Must have experience with IEC 62304.

- Must have experience in New Product Development (NPD).

- Must have experience in Verification and Validation (V&V).

- Must have experience in Medical device industry.

- Must have experience in ISO Standard (13485 or 14971).
