Skill/Competencies

  1. Overall product development lifecycle and NPI
  2. Supplier relationship management
  3. Make Vs Buy options evaluation abilities
  4. Automotive electrical and electronic systems
  5. Connected vehicle sub systems and architecture design
  6. TCU design basics
  7. Knowledge of automotive data, communication and Diagnostic protocols (CAN, J1939, UDS etc)

Knowledge of CRM and DMS system

  1. Knowledge of Data privacy, protection strategies for various data types- Working knowledge of the overall automotive system, functional aspects, design, interfacing, application, testing and integration.
  2. Cloud architecture and communications protocol basics
  3. App development
  4. Should be able to evaluate supplier proposals and provide technical recommendation


Relevant Experience :

  1. Experience in the area of product engineering and development
  2. In depth knowledge of products, development process and technologies
  3. In depth knowledge of functional documentations like – Requirement documents, DFMEA, etc
  4. Experience of new technology integration / development.
  5. Experience in cross domain coordination to arrive at most optimal designs for executing connectivity outcomes
