Description :Role & Responsibilities :We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer who can work independently on data pipeline development, troubleshooting, and optimisation tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, hands-on experience with Databricks, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. You will be responsible for building and maintaining reliable data workflows, supporting analytical teams, and ensuring high-quality, secure, and accessible data across the organisation.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.- Build, optimise, and troubleshoot SQL queries, transformations, and Databricks data processes.- Work with large datasets to deliver efficient, reliable, and high-performing data solutions.- Collaborate closely with analysts, data scientists, and business teams to support data requirements.- Ensure data quality, availability, and security across systems and workflows.- Monitor pipeline performance, diagnose issues, and implement improvements.- Contribute to documentation, standards, and best practices for data engineering Candidate :- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role (3+ years).- Strong SQL skills with experience writing and optimising complex queries.- Hands-on experience with Databricks for data engineering tasks.- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.- Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data modelling, and pipeline orchestration.- Familiarity with Power BI and data integration with BI tools.- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently.- Experience working end-to-end on data engineering workflows and solutions.
