We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our banking technology team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, with proven experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications for the banking or financial services domain.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.

- Integrate applications with internal and external systems using APIs and messaging queues.

- Ensure performance, scalability, and security in application design.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.

- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and participate in code reviews.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Stay updated with the latest Java and microservices technologies to drive innovation.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in Java application development.

- Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and API security standards (OAuth2, JWT).

- Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ is a plus.

- Proficient in working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle).

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Maven.

- Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes is desirable.

- Good understanding of banking/financial services domain will be an advantage.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
